On Friday, June 7th, between Noon and Midnight (CST), each order of "I Am A Broken House"in paperback will receive a 2nd work from me absolutely free. The humble goal is to sell at least 10 books during that 12 hour block, so I'm offering these free additions to encourage you (or someone you know) to act now. Here's how it will work:
First Order: The very first person to place an order for I Am A Broken House will, in addition to their order, receive FREE OF CHARGE and with FREE SHIPPING, a copy of 2005's "Fallen," a collection of poetry and short fiction. It's, by admission, a flawed little book, but some of the poetry and short fiction it contains cannot be found anywhere else. Fallen is NO LONGER IN STOCK, so whoever places that all-important first order will receive my AUTHOR COPY of Fallen with an inscription that notes it as such.
Second Order: The individual who places the second order [NOTE: The Write Crowd Publishing web store date and time stamps each order, so there will be no confusion in regard to who placed their order and when.] will receive, in addition to their order, one LIMITED EDITION version of the Underneath chapbook FREE OF CHARGE and with FREE SHIPPING. This deluxe, handmade edition features art work from Jason Webb and a short tale of horror by yours truly. It's a unique little book with postcard sized prints in an envelope in the back cover as well as many other touches that add to the presentation. The LIMITED EDITION is one of only 50 available and comes with a certificate in the inner front cover denoting it as such.
Orders Three through ??: Each order that I receive after those first two will receive, in addition to their order, a copy of Underneath in chapbook form FREE OF CHARGE and with FREE SHIPPING. This is a stripped down version of the LIMITED EDITION chapbook. So, while it contains none of the bells and whistles of the LIMITED EDITION, you get the same story in a handmade chapbook format with a cover design unique to this edition.
